Got Pink....a lighter shade
I made this card for the daughter of some family friends. Three challenges for this cutie:
Sketch Saturday # 115
High Hopes #84: Ribbons and Bows
Magical Modays #2: White and Pink
The Not so Good pictures.
The pictures aren't the best. I am not sure what settings I had my camera on, but I decided to go ahead with posting these and figure out my camera problems later.

Got Pink?
This weeks challenge for High Hopes (#83) is to use your favourite embellishment. Do you remember that feeling of when you learned how to ride a bike, you got that excited thinking about it and couldn't wait to do it again? Right now, that is the feeling when I think about charms! Of course my charm would feel lonely by itself, so it got some friends...some of my other warm feeling favourites; felt flowers and homemade brads made with my i-Top brad maker. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday #114. Lastly, 7 KidsCollegeFund is starting a new challenge blog. It's another every 2 week challenge blog. I love these, it gives one time to think about the challenge. The theme of the first challenge is pink and polka dots.
Accessories: PTI Razberry Fizz felt, MFT Pink Felt, i-Top small brads, i-Top Brad maker, Lace from stamp and create, SU Melon Mamba Polka Dot Ribbon, 3M foam tape, Charm from brads and charms.com, SU Oval punch, SU Scallop Oval Punch, Spots & Dots Cuttlebug folder.

Sketch Saturday & Crazy for Challenges # 42
I love Stampavie stamps. First, they stamp so well. There are some acrylic stamps that stretch and seem to loose their shape when moving them from storage to acyrlic block. These stamps don't. They are so sturdy!Second, they are so cute! I just want to cuddle every animal in their images. Just like the bear in this Penny Johnson image! I had a hard time selecting the designer paper for this card. I knew I wanted to use Cosmo Cricket Delovely paper, but it is really bright. So I decided to balance the brightness with white. The Sketch is from Sketch Saturday Challenge #108. I added some paper flowers for the Crazy for Challenges #42. I added a cute little pink butterfly to the flowers to match the butterfly in my image! Scroll down to see some close ups.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Butterfly Bear and Sentiment Stampavie
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Cardstock: SU Melon Mamba, Whisper White
Paper: Cosmo Cricket Delovely
Accessories: Prima Mini Roses, Basic Grey Opaline half pearls, SU Oval, Scallop Oval, Wide Oval Punches, White Satin Ribbon from my stash, Butterfly from Taylored Expressions
