Winter Wonderland and Blog Candy Winner

I recently stumbled across a line of stamps and digital images called Cuddly Buddly! I wanted to buy a ton of their stamps, but with Christmas right around the corner, I decided to settle for buying some digital images instead. I am okay doing this since my latest favourite paper (Xpress Blending Card by Copic) to use for colouring with my copics can go through my printer and not jam it up! I see more digital images being downloaded in my future!

It has been a while since I have made a card to enter into some challenge blogs.  This cutie is being entered into four! It's final destination will be to my brother as his Christmas card!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Cuddly Buddly Digi Stamp-I'm Dreaming, Sentiment from Whimsey Stamps
Paper: Bo Bunny
Cardstock: SU Night of Navy, Bravo Burgandy
Accessories: Maya Arts Maroon Ribbon, SU Tinsel thread, SU Nestabilities big snowflake, Martha Stewart Small Snowflakes, Tim Holtz Snow flake border, Silver Stickles, Whimsey Stamps Ticket Die, PTI Die (Under Big snowflake) The Hobby House pearl brads.

Stamp and Create-Wild Rose Studio

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...in the case of my house, it smells like Christmas. Mince Pies are a staple and here is a small batch I made fresh out of the oven!  I had to fight off the gannets to get a picture of actual pies instead of an empty tray! Some of them were damaged in the ambush!

The product spotlight this week at Stamp and Create is Wild Rose Studio. WRS has some really cute images that include fairies, dragons and my favourite, Milton the Bear. Here is Milton the Bear with Poinsettia. I used paper from the The Girls' Paperie Tinsel and Twig line, Christmas Carol Stripe and Holly Berry Floral. The Poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I cut red felt using the medium scallop die both from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment was a freebie from a UK Paper Crafting Magazine.

During the Month of December, members of the Stamp and Create Design Team will be giving away blog candy. Be sure to check out Jeanette's blog this week to enter a chance to win some candy this week.

Honu-Hawaiian for Sea Turtle

Hi everyone- I'm still on holiday. I am having a lovely time. I start each day with a bike ride for some exhaustive exercise. Then it's been off to some beach, or boat trip to go snorkeling. Yesterday the highlight was seeing an eel cruising around for some breakfast. Normally I just see eels peeking out of some coral. The coolest thing was that I saw the eel susse out an octapus which then quickly jetted out from its hiding spot, followed by lots of ink squirted into the eels face. It was the National Geographic/Discovery tv channel live! I couldn't help but think of Finding Nemo and the little octapus who said "You made me Ink".

I've been seeing lots of my favourite sea animal, the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle, otherwise known as a Honu in Hawaiian. Here is a shot I got with my underwater digital camera (my old cannon digital camera in an underwater housing).

Aloha!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is quickly approaching. Halloween just isn't complete with out black cats. I love black cats. If they cross your path it is considered bad luck in America, but good luck in England. Since I'm English, I'm going with the good luck!

This is one of my cats Kwinki doing her best Halloween decoration impressions. She is actually sitting on top of a curtain rod in my living room, and YES they had not been dusted for a while.

The product spotlight on Stamp and Create this week is Halloween. The challenge on Magical Mondays is also Halloween! Witches are considered magical!
I used the ever so cute Best Friends Sweet Pea Image by Elaine Cox. The was stamped and then cut out using the new Classic Diamonds Nestabilities. The card was accented with Say it in Crystals Black Vintage Swirl, Black May Arts 1 1/4 inch Silk Ribbon, and a cute cat charm.

I hope you get a chance to shop for discounted Halloween Stamps at Stamp and Create and participate in the Halloween Challenge on Magical Mondays! I'd Love to see your fabulous creations!

Happy Wednesday! We are up to the letter "F" in the ABC Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge F is for Flowers and is also Fun if you ask me! The sponsor for this challenge Wild Orchid Crafts, could not be more appropriate. All of the roses on my card are from WOC. I am in love with their flowers and they ship worldwide. I placed a huge order and got it in less than 10 days! WOC is located in the United Kingdom and I am half way round the World in California. Shipping costs are very reasonable and they just reduced them 25%. They sell lots of other cool embellishments like pins and pearls, though I didn't want to go overboard and add them to my card. I needed to make sure you could still see the oh so cute Rosie Rabbit by Stampavie. The current Stampavie challenge #34 is to you die cuts. I used the new Lacey Squares nestabilites.

I used Whiff of Joy Melinda Blowing Kisses. I also used Basic Grey Olivia Paper, Kaiser Craft Snow Pearls, May Arts White Wrinkled Ribbon, May Arts Pink Crochet RibbonPrima Fairy Tale Pink Roses, and a card made by me would not be complete without a Heart Charm!
