Here is my entry for the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge #58. I tried something different with my card by colouring several flowers and layering them on top of each other. I really like the dimension it adds to the card! What do you think? Do you have any tips for adding dimension to your images? I would love to hear what you do.
Supplies Used:
Stamps: High Hope Stamps Sunflower by Meljen, PTI Sentiment
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers, Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: SU Pear Pizazz, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Gina K Pure Luxury white
Paper: SU DSP
Accessories: Tim Holtz Embossing Folder, SU Oval Punches, SU Chocholate Chip Satin Ribbon, Red Felt from Thimble Creek, PTI Button, Red DMC Floss, 3M Mounting Foam
Here are all the images I have been colouring for my Christmas cards. There are 35 of each image. It's very theraputic watching/listening to the Tour de France and colouring in the evening!
Thanks for visiting! I would love to know if you have any tips for adding dimension to your images!

Hi Heidi, I love your card this week I adore Sunflowers. I love the 3D and your stitiching is lovely it looks really funkey. I used Pop Dots or Ezydots for mounting which is the same as the 3M Mounting Foam you used. Have a look at this coming Wednesday's SSW card I've made. I've used a frame this is another way to 3D a card and it then looks like a framed picture. I have also Glass Coated flowers with layers and layers of Glass Coat this also gives a 3D effect. But you have to wait for each layer to dry. I do hope this helps. Thanks for playing along at SSW this week. Kathie

That's a nice and sunny card! I can't give you any advice on how to add dimension, I don't do that (for the moment). But it sure gives "a little something better" to your card!
Thanks for becoming a follower on my blog, and yes, it's been a busy week for me (here in France the 14th of July is a holiday so I had one more day in the week to craft!)
