ABC Challenge- F is for Flowers

Happy Wednesday! We are up to the letter "F" in the ABC Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge F is for Flowers and is also Fun if you ask me! The sponsor for this challenge Wild Orchid Crafts, could not be more appropriate. All of the roses on my card are from WOC. I am in love with their flowers and they ship worldwide. I placed a huge order and got it in less than 10 days! WOC is located in the United Kingdom and I am half way round the World in California. Shipping costs are very reasonable and they just reduced them 25%. They sell lots of other cool embellishments like pins and pearls, though I didn't want to go overboard and add them to my card. I needed to make sure you could still see the oh so cute Rosie Rabbit by Stampavie. The current Stampavie challenge #34 is to you die cuts. I used the new Lacey Squares nestabilites.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Stampavie Rosie Rabbit by Penny Johnson, Sentiment from Papertrey Ink (PTI)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: SU Real Red, Basic Black, Neenah Solar White
Accessories: PTI texture Plate, WOC Flowers, Lacey Squares Nestabilites, SU Oval punches, May Arts Ribbon.

Sketch Saturday & Crazy for Challenges # 42

I love Stampavie stamps. First, they stamp so well.  There are some acrylic stamps that stretch and seem to loose their shape when moving them from storage to acyrlic block. These stamps don't. They are so sturdy!Second, they are so cute! I just want to cuddle every animal in their images.  Just like the bear in this Penny Johnson image! I had a hard time selecting the designer paper for this card. I knew I wanted to use Cosmo Cricket Delovely paper, but it is really bright. So I decided to balance the brightness with white.  The Sketch is from Sketch Saturday Challenge #108. I added some paper flowers for the Crazy for Challenges #42. I added a cute little pink butterfly to the flowers to match the butterfly in my image! Scroll down to see some close ups.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Butterfly Bear and Sentiment Stampavie

Friday Sketchers #107

I made this cute dream inducer card for the Friday Sketchers Challenge #107. The image is Stampavie Mouse in Hammock by Tina Wenke.  I love this stamp because it reminds me of my own hammock sleeper. One of my cats Jar Jar, loves sleeping in my hammock. It's really cute seeing him softly step into it so it doesn't swing too much. I printed the sentiment from my computer and sponged the edge with Papertrey Chai ink from their Vintage touch set. I also sponged Chai ink on the the edge of the main image. I thought the Webster Pages would be a nice back drop with the tree braches. I titled the book that Mr. Mouse is reading Cheese, I Love You!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Stampavie Mouse in Hammock by Tina Wenke, Inside Card Sentiment: Wordsmith Stamps
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Papertrey Chai Vintage Ink, Copic Markers
Cardstock: SU Soft Suede, Kiwi Kiss, Gina K Pure Luxury White
Paper: Webster Pages

Stamp and Create - A great place to shop!

One of my favourite places to shop is StampandCreate.com. I discovered Lacey's store when I could no longer buy High Hope Stamps directly from High Hopes. I discovered a lot of other stamps I could buy there including, Stampavie, The Greeting Farm, Kraftin Kimmie. I can special order items such as the new Tim Holtz Dies and embossing folders. She also carries some great embellishments like ribbon, flowers, pearls, and charms as well. Just about everything on this card, I purchased from her store.

The Stamp and Create Store also has a blog. Lacey has recently started a monthly challenge on the blog. The first challenge is to use Ribbon.

I layered the different sizes and put them all together with a clear rhinestone brad. I spritzed them with Tuscan Sun shimmer mist. I sponged the edged with SU's So Saffron ink. Get Sketchy

This little cutey is for the Get Sketchy challenge #35. I used my Cricut machine and Sure Cuts A Lot software to cut the 1/2 oval shape and the scalloped tangerine tango base. I then stamped Ruffles and his little bandaged paw using Memento Tuxedo Black. I coloured him using my copics and airbrushed the background. The picture makes it look really splotchy but it looks better in real life.
